A survival guide for local economies
In a global economic structure.
Real Life Economics for the Small Business.
Real Economy is the results of several years of looking at two economic extremes. The global economics of Gatt, Nafta, EU, WTO, World Bank and the global Central Bank system. The general workings of stock markets and their proliferation with emerging economies. The pondering of the true nature of money and wealth and the true costs of things and the price of consumerism on the environment to name a few subjects. This constituted one area of thought and research.
The second focus involves a concern for the economies of small communities in this age of globalization of the economic, governmental and social structures that have been in place since recorded history and the accelerated evolution of those structures in this time.
The moment you are born you become a player in a game. Here is what you were never told:
- You were not told what the game is.
- You were not told there are rules and what they are.
- You were not told there are different rules for different people, organizations and big companies.
- You were not told a major part of the game is monetary.
- You are told it has something to do with a thing called... "The American Dream".
- Sometimes you get lucky, but it's better to be an informed player than lucky.
Oh yea, someone forgot to tell you... The old "American Dream Machine" faded away with the globalization of: US business and commerce, outsourcing, fiat monitary systems and government policies. And by the way, the rules have changed again.
